Class enrollment
subject to a minimum of 4-students. Private custom lessons are
available upon request. Unless stated, students are responsible for
necessary supplies, fabrics, and tools. Students should have a
basic-sewing kit (pins, paper scissors, fabric scissors, a marking pen, seam
ripper and measuring tape) fabric, patterns, coordinating thread. Once
registered, students will be contacted about specific supplies for their class.
It is helpful for students to learn on their machine, so it is
advisable for them to bring their own. Machine rentals are available for $10
per session and payable the day of the class.
Refunds: There are no refunds after start date. There are no deductions,
or credits granted for any missed class time.
Parental Presence: Parents are expected to remain on property during the term of the
Parent- Child lessons. With prior approval, parents may leave for the Young
Adult lessons.
Make ups: If consecutive classes are being held, it may be
possible to attend a
different session. This is not a guarantee and is left to the discretion of the
instructor.
Bring your working sewing
machine to each class with its manual, and a basic sewing kit, sewing thread and
a used, washed, twin sheet for the first garment and one package of 1-inch woven elastic. We will discuss fabric choices for future projects in more detail
during the class.
The beginner adult session,
for those 13 and older, completes four projects during four, 3-hour classes
each meeting once a week. Homework may be assigned each week to
reinforce learning.
Hold Harmless Agreement:
By
registering and attending classes, you agree to hold Thanks! I Made Them, Sew
Can You harmless for any accident or injury that may occur while you or your
child is attending classes. The instructors will do their best to prevent
accidents from happening.
