I feel like a college Freshman on day one of school. I have no experience with embroidery machines and everything I read is like a new language. There is so much to learn and I am so excited to see what I can do with this machine. If you have any tips, or resources you can share, I would really appreciate it.
Happy Sewing,
Bianca
So excited for you! Keep us updated on your progress, I would like to know all about your adventure. I also have never used an embroidery machine but have always wanted one.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I am so excited! I think I will try freestanding lace as a beginner project.
DeleteI've never used an embroidery machine either! Congrats on your win, that dress was PHENOMENAL!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kyle! I am so thrilled! I don't think naptime will come soon enough until I learn how to use it.
DeleteCongrats on your win. I don't know what you were sewing with before, but you've got talent and skills, so I hope the machine inspires you to keep on and new creative growth.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I have "regular" machines, but this is the first that has the embroidery features. I can't wait to play!

DeleteCongratulations on your win! Your dress was a stunner! Like others, I've never used an embroidery machine either but I have no doubt you'll come up with something great!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I am so excited!

DeleteHow wonderful!! Major congratulations to you on your 2nd - certainly a terrific prize. I have only used an embroidery machine 3 times and all of those were about 25 years ago so I'm no help. I will say that more and more of the Nancy's Notions catalog is given over to embroidery, so that website & catalog, plus her blog might give you some good starting ideas and info. I can hardly wait to see your astonishing creativity combined with embroidery - I know there is loads to learn, but I'm excited for you. YAY!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your well-deserved win! Have fun with the embroidery machine!
ReplyDeleteall the time i used to read smaller articles that also clear their motive, and that is also happening with this piece of writing which I am reading here.
